My name
is Ola.
Like "hello" in Spanish*.

*the 'h' is silent in both the UK and Spain. It also means 'wave' in Portugese.

A photo of Ola Podgorska, who has short, bright magenta pink hair cut in a pixie cut, is wearing large black framed glasses, and is holding her hands up in the shape of a heart. She is sitting in her studio which is bright yellow with lots of framed art in the background.

What I do.

I’m a Lead Digital Design Researcher, currently working at the National Oceanography Centre. But I also find myself using any spare time to create functional, beautiful things (from user interfaces, to branding, to film & television graphics). I'm also a proud STEM Ambassador.

I'm inspired to create better experiences, because of my appreciation and interest in people from all walks of life - their goals, needs and aspirations. I see challenges as opportunities for creative solutions.
